Visitors/Non-Members

We welcome you to our site! However, please be aware of these terms that you must follow by in order to use our site; and please view the information we automatically collect from you.

Just for visiting this site, we collect your browser version, operating system, if you came from another website or search engine what that was, and leave a small cookie. None of this information personally identifies you or your location.
You are welcome to view pictures in the public area of the site, however if we notice repeated attempts to gain access to the members only area or suspicious activity, or IP address will be blocked.
Harassment to any member of the Troop using the contact form, or any area on this website will also result in the blocking of your IP and turning it over to your ISP and/or law enforcement.
If you use the contact form to contact us, we do collect some personal information you enter, and we DO NOT SPAM! Also, we will remove your address completely from our system if you request. All email lists, and emails from the domain of troop763.com are OPT-In, and you can OPT-Out at any time you wish. This may take 2-5 days to OPT-out. We will never solicit from the domain of troop763.com

Scout

Any personal information including full name, rank, address, telephone number, e-mail address, or any other information deemed "private" by the Troop Committee will only be available to members of the troop.
Your son's photograph, unless otherwise requested, may be displayed in the public image gallery on the web site. Any caption referring to the scout by name will be in the format of First Name, Last Initial (e.g. Jon R.).
The Troop Schedule will only be available to members of the Troop.
You may make any special Restrictions (e.g. No Photo, etc.).
You may revoke or change the terms of your consent at anytime by contacting the Troop Webmaster (Stephan Ohsowski), or Scoutmaster (Brad Rings).
Any Email Addresses, Phone Numbers, or personal information will not be published EXCEPT in the private "Members Only" area, where a username and Password is required to gain access. This information can be removed at any time by contacting the Troop Webmaster (Stephan Ohsowski) or Scoutmaster (Brad Rings).
If you need a page created for an event, and have permission from a leader and is an official troop 763 activity or event, please contact the Troop Webmaster (Stephan Ohsowski). All scout pages Troop 763 Leaders and appointed staff have the right to edit, or refuse any pages, and they must abide by all these policies.
If you are under the age of 13, you are welcome to access the site and use it's resources, but your personal email will NOT be posted online without parental permission, and parent's have the right to remove all contact information from the members only area, or any area of the domain troop763.com.

Adult

Adult Leaders

If you are the host of any event within Troop 763 (merit badges, outing coordinator, contact us page, etc) your name will be posted in the public area of the site, along with a link that is password protected to where Troop members only can contact you through telephone, email, or any way of communication. Also on the contact us page there is a form for any one to fill out to email you, however your email is not shown in this, and any unwanted mail can be stopped by the webmaster if notified. You can make any request or special restrictions on this by contacting the Troop Webmaster (Stephan Ohsowski). If your contact information is already on the site, and you wish to have it removed, it will be done immediately.
If you do not have an email address, or do not want yours posted online, or for whatever reason, you are welcome to have a troop email address (yourname@troop763.com) . You must be an adult leader, OR obtain permission from Brad Rings and Stephan Ohsowski.
If you need a page created for an event, and need help marketing (getting people to the site) please contact the Troop Webmaster (Stephan Ohsowski). Since you are in a Leadership position, requested pages will automatically be accepted. These still must meet the criteria of these terms.
